On Sunday last there was another race of six friends. Our team included 4 original members DB, Jay, Emma and myself and 2 new friends Chris and Mike. As Gaz, CTB and Mullarkey (all past participants past participals?) were unable to attend. It was brilliant, it was sunny and I don't think there has ever been a better collusion of friends, bikes, hills, gravel and whisky.

Yesterday my (and DB's) Colombian styled Cycling Inquisition socks arrived, they are super and guaranteed to improve your climbing ability by 17%. Today we decided to test the outlandish claims of Klaus (Mr Cycling Inquisition himself) by riding out over Ardmore Quarry, Jones Rd, Sky high, Twilight and Sandstone. I am happy to report that Klaus is right on the money; we were bloody godlike! Those hills simply melted beneath us.
